Depression is like having to carry another one of yourself around all of the time. It’s like being on a planet where there is 3x the gravity. *Everything* is hard. Lived with it most of my life. Western medicine doesn't seem to really get it, most of what they offered made me feel weird, coldly unemotional, or nothing. But effexor, exercise, meditation, and cannabis seem to help. Not that it’s gone, but at least it’s no longer the one in the driver’s seat.
