I’ve been doing all of those things for 30 years and I can tell you that, in my experience, you have no idea what you’re talking about. The space that meditation gets one into is unique; different than flow, different than post-exercise, different than everything else. You can’t hack into it, as much as we westerners would like to believe it. Yes, they all may be ego-reducing activities, and the difference in meditation is the focus, the intention, and the time ones takes to do it. There are just some things much harder to hack.
